Style icon and celebrity Jennifer Lopez recently shocked Tinseltown with her abrupt split from her husband of seven years, Marc Anthony.
This divorce is the third for Lopez, who was previously married to Ojani Noa,in 1997 and Cris Judd, in 2001.
When Lopez and Anthony announced in a joint statement to People magazine that the split was "a difficult decision" and they had reached an "amicable conclusion", critics had mixed reactions at first.
Social profile, Twitter, went crazy with reactions by fans and fellow celebrities.
Comedian Jason Alexander tweeted from his account, “JLo is back in play. Anyone hooks me up with her cell number and then it's just a matter of time.”
Entertainment News commentator Dan Wootton (@danwootton), was more remorseful, “Shocked that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have split. They seemed so in love on American Idol."
Recently, however, Hollywood had a field day with news that the sizzling Latina had a minor affair with William Levy, the male lead in her latest music video “I’m Into You”. Green-eyed Levy is seen frolicking on the sands with Lopez.
Rumours sprouted after Levy, 30, separated from his wife Elizabeth Gutierrez a month after the video shoot. The couple was married for seven years.
Levy, who is currently involved in a lawsuit for a sexual offence against a minor, denied the affair and that it had anything to do with his former marriage.
A spokesperson for Levy told TMZ,(www.tmz.com): 'The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That’s all there’s ever been.'
Lopez has not commented on the rumours but judging from her history, it is unlikely that she will stay single for long.
